The 16x16 young people’s programme offers young people the chance to display the qualities, skills and experience that employers feel are needed in the world of work, education and training.
Working together with partners including schools, further and higher education institutions, learning providers and employers this programme has been developed for young people aged between 14 and 16 years old. The aim of the scheme is to raise young people’s aspirations so they can reach their full potential and so support them in securing one of the estimated 18,500 new jobs coming to the town as part of the Luton Investment Framework.
This section will provide the young people, teachers and schools with the resources to deliver the programme. Updates and other useful information will appear here on a regular basis.
